With its meetings and daily functions business well established, Alexandra Park is increasingly attracting large multi-day conferences and conventions.

We may not have a hotel on-site but we offer great proximity to the central city and airport. That’s a big plus for many attendees who are quite happy to organise their own accommodation and make the most of our central location and free carparking.

Great Venue

Alexandra Park is a big player in the Auckland functions market hosting about 1000 different meetings and events every year.

We are hearing a lot about the new tunnels making it easier to get to the airport. However, we have always been just 20 minutes from the airport which is great for delegates flying in and international speakers or attendees.

We encourage people to also make good use of their outdoor spaces in the heart of Epsom, including our covered stable complex that can be used for the likes of large sit-down dinners and offers a real point of difference.

Varied functions

In addition to hosting plenty of daily delegates, we do a lot of school balls, private functions, weddings, and offer all sorts of packages to suit. However, more and more we are securing large groups and associations for conferences that stretch over a number of days. Our pricing is also proving to be a big deciding factor.

Cost-effective solutions

Not everyone is a big multinational with a huge conference budget. The reality is a lot of groups are not-for-profit or membership based. If they want to attract attendees they need to ensure their conferences offer good value for money, and we can help them achieve that.
