Awards demonstrate Indian business acumen

By Venkat Raman

Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards Presentation Ceremony, since its beginning in 2008, has witnessed thousands of people gathering, initially at Stamford Plaza Auckland Hotel and for the past four years at Sky City Convention Centre. Each of these events has attracted comments guests, most of them bouquets in appreciation of the initiative and its implementation. We have also heard adverse remarks, some of them clearly critical of the Awards Programme, questioning its very need. We have taken these as suggestions for improvement. In that spirit, we reproduce a few comments that we have heard and read about the Seventh BNZ-Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards 2014 held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Sky City Convention Centre.

With more than 900 people in attendance, this year’s Awards Night was not only the largest to date, but also the most satisfying. The following comments have inspired us, vindicating the purpose and content of the Awards.

Steady improvement
